Nick Hay is the Director of Storied - a specialist communications practice, dedicated to telling credible stories that spark systems change. Nick’s passion lies at the intersection of communications and sustainability, where he helps purpose-led brands and initiatives to articulate solutions-driven stories addressing the climate and nature crises.

Our Approach

At Storied, we provide senior strategic counsel and hands-on implementation for a range of clients, including Net Zero Tracker, and the Climate Champions Team. We undertake projects independently, and with a network of expert climate communicators to ensure the highest levels of impact.

Nick’s background

Before founding Storied, Nick led the Cleantech Practice at global PR firm, Edelman, helping to earn investment in climate innovation, from smart cities, to energy storage. His work included helping to awaken investors to the ‘carbon bubble’ in global financial markets, plus visualising the impact of climate pledges prior to the COP21 climate negotiations in Paris.

Nick was also previously a member of the Carbon Trust’s communications team - helping to scale the trust’s carbon footprinting and advisory services, and supporting low carbon transitions in sectors ranging from energy, industrials to construction.
